This Privacy Policy applies to the following properties operated by AC Creative, Inc.: noircigar.com (our primary website, blog, and content platform) and journal.noircigar.com (the Noir Cigar™ Detective's Case File, a cigar tasting journal application). Where practices differ between the website and the application, this policy clearly identifies which applies.
AC Creative, Inc. ("we," "us," "our," or "The Agency") is the owner and operator of Noir Cigar™ and the Noir Cigar™ Detective's Case File application. Our principal place of business is 3000 Hornbeam Ct, Virginia Beach, VA 23452, United States.
We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about our data practices. We will never sell your name, email address, or any personally identifying information to third parties.
Noir Cigar™ content is intended exclusively for adults of legal tobacco consumption age. In the United States, you must be at least 21 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you are under 21, do not use our services or provide any personal information.

The Noir Cigar™ Detective's Case File collects structured cigar tasting data — including flavor profiles, strength ratings, and physical evidence scores — that has potential value to the cigar manufacturing and hospitality industries. When you create a journal account, you consent to the following:

Please be aware that withdrawal of consent requires full account deletion, as we cannot partially retain your data while excluding it from aggregate processing.
Noir Cigar™ participates in affiliate marketing programs. Certain links on noircigar.com — particularly in The Detective's Supply Room, The Humidor, The Newsstand, and within Case File blog posts — are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, The Agency may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

When you click an affiliate link and are redirected to a third-party retailer's website, you are subject to that retailer's own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the data practices of our affiliate partners. All affiliate links are disclosed at the point of placement in accordance with FTC disclosure requirements (16 CFR Part 255).

8B. Cookies on journal.noircigar.com (App)
We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies within the journal application.
Website visitor data: Email addresses and form submissions are retained for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list or as required to fulfill your inquiry. You may request deletion at any time.
App user data: Your account and all associated Case File data are retained for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion request, all personally identifiable information is removed from our systems within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data derived from your tasting records is not deleted, as it cannot be linked back to you.
Analytics data: Anonymized analytics data is retained per the default retention policies of Google Analytics and Hostinger (typically 26 months for Google Analytics).
Noir Cigar™ does not directly process or store payment card information. Any purchases made through The Smolder Shop™ (Printful) or through affiliate retailer links are processed entirely on those third-party platforms under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
If you subscribe to our mailing list or opt in during app registration, you consent to receiving email communications from Noir Cigar™, including newsletters, case file updates, and promotional content. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting info@noircigar.com.
Transactional emails related to your app account (such as password resets) are not subject to marketing opt-out and will continue as necessary to operate your account.
No internet transmission or cloud storage system is 100% secure. While we implement industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you promptly by email.

Our website and app contain links to third-party websites, including affiliate retailers, social media platforms, and partner organizations. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy, notify registered app users by email, and post a notice on noircigar.com.
