Every cigar is evaluated on construction, draw, burn, flavor, and story, then rated on the exclusive Trench Coat Rating System™™.

What is the Trench Coat Rating System™™?

The Trench Coat Rating System™™ is Noir Cigar™’s five-level cigar rating system. Five Trench Coats is Legendary — reserved for the rarest finds. One Trench Coat means don’t take the case again. Watson rates every cigar on five categories: construction quality, cold draw, burn and draw during smoke, flavor complexity and transitions, and overall story and experience.
